best class
well this has been a debate for a while for everyone
whats the best class for farming solo
u have just about everything cept a paragon
to choose from u pick and put reason and location why u choose that one

admin will close this in like 5 mins becuase each class is adapted to each situtaion and each person using them. no class is better or worse if used right.
most common farmers =
monk - 55hp /600hp
necro -55hp

Actually, I've seen some Paragon FoW farming builds, but yeah, like the OP said, Monks and Necromancers are probably the biggest farmers, although the Perma SF is pretty popular right now.

Warriors pressure, Rangers hit and run, Eles nuke, Monks heal, Necros curse, Mesmers distract, Assassins kill, Ritualists support, Paragons protect, and Dervishes do whatever the hell they do.

all classes can farm and if you don't believe me you should check the forums
i've seen warrior, ritu, necro, monk, ele, para, ranger, mesmer, assa farming builds
all classes can farm

This pretty much covers it, but don't forget about [Vengeful Was Khanhei] farmers. Rits and W/Rt seem to do those best.

I'd would strongly suggest the 330 Ritualist Build,
for it's High amount of HM farming places it is by far the best farmer without switching any skills.
And maby even all around best farmer,
cause i haven't seen anything quicker and as high in survivability.

for solo farming, id say rit. they can farm alot of places, from UW to DoA to random monsters to get materials, ect ect.

this is a debate because alot of people have asked me in sardalac when im farming elementals "whats the best class cause i have a slot open" i can tell them becuase i dont know them so i tell them to come here and read and im tryin to help out the newbs

Telling them to check the farming section (which you do) is all you need to do, really. If they want to know how to farm things, there isn't a reason why they can't just read this forum themselves.
As shown by this thread, there are arguments for all professions as to which is the best for farming (except Paragon, but no one expects them to be good at soloing), so it's not just a simple answer like you're looking for. There isn't more to it then this really.
